Materials Needed

  • apples
  • pumpkin carver
  • tea lights
  • cutting board

Trace Outline

Place a tea light candle on top of an apple and lightly trace around it with the carving tool. Remove the candle and cut the outline.

Carve Apple

Cut into the apple, then remove the first bit. Continue using the carving tool to remove the inside of the apple so that the tea light will fit snuggly inside. Be careful not to over-carve!

Insert Candle

Remove the candle from its plastic cylinder. Insert the candle into the apple. Create a grouping on your table for more impact. The more, the better!
