Glue your coffee cup and lid onto the front of the pink card. Hand-draw your design and a saying on the white coffee sleeve using a pencil.

Step 3: Finalize Design

Use a fine-tipped black marker to finalize your text and design. Then, glue the sleeve into place.

You’ll need: (1) sheet of kraft paper card stock, (1) large yellow pom-pom, (2) mini yellow pom-poms, a pencil, a fine-tipped black marker, a pink colored pencil, an orange colored pencil and a hot glue gun. Step 1: Plan + Sketch Design

Step 2: Finalize Design

Use a fine-tipped black marker to finalize the text. Then, apply hot glue on the marks you made to secure each pom-pom.

Step 3: Add Chick Details

Use the black marker to add feet and beaks to the chicks. Then, color in the beaks with an orange colored pencil. Add pink hearts for an extra pop of color.

Flower Pot Card

Give Mom a bundle of blooms without stepping foot in a gardening store. For this card, you’ll need: (1) sheet of pink card stock, (1) sheet of kraft paper card stock, (5) sheets tissue paper in bright, complementary colors, a pencil, a fine-tipped black marker, a green colored pencil, a glue stick, a hot glue gun and scissors.

Step 1: Cut Tissue Paper

First, cut the five sheets of tissue paper into squares of the same size. My squares were approximately 6" x 6".

Step 2: Plan + Prep Design

Fold the sheet of pink card stock in half, hamburger-style. Then, crumple up each tissue paper square into a ball, and arrange them like a bouquet of flowers on the front of the pink card. Next, sketch a flower pot onto the kraft paper card stock, using the pink card and flowers to estimate an appropriate size.

Step 3: Cut Out + Attach Flower Pot

Cut out the flower pot, and hand-write text using a fine-tipped black marker. Then, glue the pot onto the front of the pink card using a glue stick.

Step 4: Add Stems

Make sure your tissue paper blooms are situated properly, and use a green colored pencil to draw a stem for each one.

Step 5: Glue Blooms in Place

Glue your tissue paper flowers in place with a hot glue gun.
