Ingredients

  • Honeysuckle sugar*
  • 2 oz. Barr Hill Vodka
  • 1.5 oz. fresh orange juice
  • 1.5 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 oz. honeysuckle honey syrup**
  • Honeysuckle leaves and blossoms for garnish

Preparation

Coat the rim of a coupe glass with honeysuckle sugar and set aside. Add the remaining ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake well and double-strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with honeysuckle leaves and blossoms.

*Honeysuckle Sugar

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup fresh honeysuckle blossoms

Preparation

Combine the sugar and honeysuckle blossoms in a small sealable container, seal and let stand overnight.

**Honeysuckle Honey Syrup

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup local honey
  • 1 cup honeysuckle blossoms

Preparation

Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan over high heat. Remove from the heat and add the sugar and honey, stirring until they dissolve completely. Add the honeysuckle blossoms and let stand for 1 hour. Strain and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
