To add some serious fun to your tailgating activities, build and setup this fun washer toss game. You can just make one or have two going with teams on each end. Keep track of how many washers land in the pipe and whoever gets the most wins!

Materials

  • 1 plywood base- 12" x 12"
  • 2 plywood pieces- 11.5" x 3.5"
  • 2 plywood pieces- 12" x 3.5"
  • 11.5" x 11.5" faux grass piece
  • PVC pipe 2.75" wide x 3" tall
  • Glue gun and hot glue
  • Ruler
  • Staple gun
  • 3/8" staples
  • 1.5" washers

Build the Box

Use the staple gun to attach one 11.5” side piece to the inside edge of a 12” side piece. Then attach the second 11.5” side piece to the opposite end of the 12” piece. Next, attach the second 12” piece to complete the square.

Attach and Assemble the Base

Use the staple gun to attach the base piece to the square of side pieces. Use the glue gun to attach the grass piece to the bottom of the box. Use glue gun to attach the piece of PVC pipe to the grass.
