If you’ve been in charge of throwing a baby shower recently, chances are you combed your way through some pretty awkward search results (Eat mysterious baby food? Sniff a melted candy bar in a diaper? No thanks.). That’s why we made it our mission to give you a game that will keep guests entertained without forcing them to ingest any questionable substances. Enter: The Baby Maker Game.

Why call it The Baby Maker Game? Because you’re literally creating your prediction for what the future baby girl or boy will look like. Also, it’s just funny. So, here’s what you’ll need to do.

Select Stills

Start by gathering photos of the soon-to-be mom and dad. To get even more hilarious and varied results, mix in a photo of each grandparent. The closer you can match face angles and sizes, the better your results will be. You could print these on photo paper, but for easier cutting and gluing, regular printer paper will do just fine. You’ll need to print several copies of each picture to give guests plenty of wacky options.

Start Slicing

Cut out the hair, eyes, nose, mouth and chin of each photo, trying to keep them about the same size for each face. Depending on how many pages you plan to cut, a paper cutter or trimmer will be a major time saver. Bonus: The slicing sound is just so satisfying.

Set Up a Station

Separate the different facial features however you please. We organized ours on blue and pink paper plates. Add glue sticks, stickers, markers, washi tape and anything else to help guests create their own adorable (?) scrapbook page on 12-inch square cardstock. Supply a few pairs of scissors in case party-goers want to get extra creative and give baby two different eyes, lips, hairlines, etc. You get the point. The crazier, the better.

Sign + Sign Off

Once everyone has finished their Picasso-style masterpiece, ask them to sign their page and write a quick note (funny or sweet) to the future parents. Add the pages to a scrapbook for a meaningful memento that is sure to induce laughter for years to come.
