Kitchen

The kitchen is Larry’s favorite room in the house, and great for parties, thanks to its open layout with the adjacent dining room. This is always the room where he catches up with all the ladies in his life – his fiancée, Kenia Ontiveros, and his mother – who love to spoil him with authentic Mexican dishes including posole, caldos and ceviche.

Family Room

Larry’s family room is decorated in a turquoise-and-gray color scheme with accent pieces in aqua. The tall vases and the intricate mirror are from Mexicali, Mexico. “The mirror in the family room is one of my favorite items because I’ve never seen another one like it – it’s unique and modern,” he says. Two velvet turquoise chairs, a long gray sofa, a plush white rug and a glass table bring a warm, calm feeling when you enter the home.

Dining Room

The dining room dinner table seats eight, which is perfect for hosting their families during the holidays. An elegant crystal chandelier hangs above the dinner table, and the velvet seats are a mix of dark and light gray.

Dining Room

Larry’s dining room features a glass table and a crystal chandelier with gold-plated rings. In the background is a glimpse of the viewing room, featuring a flat-screen TV mounted on a stone wall. “This room is special for holiday dinners,” he says. “I’m looking forward to the holiday season in our new home and dining room.”

Kitchen

The kitchen includes a granite-topped island, fireplace and stainless steel appliances. Hardwood floors add beautiful contrast to the white and gray walls. “I admit I’m a neat freak and like to have all the countertops clear at all times to enjoy the granite,” Larry says. “It does get tricky at times with [my daughter] Daleysa leaving trails of toys behind.”

Viewing Room

The viewing room is adorned with a crystal chandelier, accent stone wall, flat-screen TV and state-of-the-art surround sound system. “This is where I often feel inspired to sing, but it’s not always welcomed, especially not on movie nights,” Larry says.

Viewing Room Table

All the furniture and decorations in the viewing room, where the family spends most of their time together for movie nights, is from Mexicali, Mexico. The room is also equipped with a great surround sound system.

Decor

"The statue of a sexy, curvy woman was an item that my interior decorator brought me," Larry notes. "She thought it was a nice reminder of my beautiful fiancée Kenia and her lovely figure. I think Kenia is one of a kind, but it’s a nice detail that adds a feminine touch to the room."

Backyard

Larry’s property is a former horse ranch turned tropical desert oasis. The backyard area is perfect for hosting friends and family, complete with a swimming pool and outdoor grill area. The palm trees add to the tropical feel. “The last party was a hit: One hundred guests joined us for Kenia’s baby shower, and we got to enjoy authentic Mexican tacos and even sat around and sang my lady and our guests a couple of their favorite Larry Hernandez tunes,” Larry says. “Our backyard is also a big part of our reality series, Larrymania. I’m planning a birthday party for Kenia, which we’ll make a pool party at our home.”

Pool

The custom-designed grotto swimming pool features a wraparound pool slide. Not surprisingly, it’s Larry’s kids’ favorite part of the house, and they’ve spent many afternoons by the pool since school let out for the summer. The waterfall provides a tranquil touch as well.
