Hilltop: One of Hollywood's Favorite Escapes
Built in 1927, this Lake Arrowhead estate was once a popular vacation spot for Hollywood royalty, including Marilyn Monroe, Rock Hudson and Cary Grant. The 3.85-acre, 15,000-square-foot waterfront compound has a gatehouse, detached caretakers’ quarters and five accessory buildings on its sprawling grounds. Magnificent Obsession and many other films and TV shows have been shot here, and it was once owned by MCA founder Jules Stein.
