Vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan instantly make this bungalow near Los Angeles feel bright and spacious. To increase the interior's functionality, designer Bryan Wark outfitted the galley kitchen with open shelves and a hanging rack for pots and pans, and then added built-in bookshelves and a reading nook to the living room.
