Clean lines, colorblocked cabinets and ceramic pendant lights all give this kitchen some bold, midcentury style. Designer Natalie Myers also outfitted the space with a sleek island, three light wood barstools and a matching dining set where the owners and their friends can gather for dinner.

Designers removed a wall separating the kitchen and living room to create one large and easy-flowing great room. Painting the exposed beam ceiling gray and white helps call attention to the architecture.
