Mudroom With Light Blue Dutch Door

From the moment they enter this home in Minneapolis, Minn., guests are greeted with bright colors and patterns. A custom bench with gold hooks gives them a place to store their shoes and jackets, while blue pillows complement the door and wallpaper.

Fun Message Hidden in Mudroom Floors

Because the home has a smaller footprint, Bria Hammel Interiors put a lot of thought into every little detail. For example, the mudroom floors are both functional and fun, with gray and white pennytile that's easy to clean and that nods the owners' playful personalities.

Mudroom Flows Into Bright White Dining Area

Thanks to the home's open floor plan, the mudroom flows right into the dining area. Here, white walls and cabinets become a canvas for colorful accents, like pastel pink jars and blue plaid cushions.

Neutral Dining Room With Boho-Chic Chandelier

The chandelier is easily the star of the space, with a natural texture that feels wonderfully boho-chic. A vintage table and six wicker chairs complement the laid-back look and invite the whole family to gather for breakfast.

Gold Pendant Lights Brighten Kitchen Island

To make the kitchen and dining room look cohesive, Bria Hammel Interiors pulled in another wicker chair with a blue plaid cushion. A print in a gold frame completes this corner and speaks to the pretty pendants over the island.

Kitchen Island Includes Blue-Striped Barstools

Striped barstools add visual interest to the island, as well as give the owners a spot to sip their coffee or help their kids with homework. Notice how the pale blue pattern brings out the kitchen's other blue accents.

Charming White Kitchen With Brass Hardware

Because this kitchen is part of a historic Tudor home, the designers used materials, like a hand-glazed backsplash and aged brass hardware, to make it feel true to the time period. A pretty curved hood rage and decorative X-detail over the pantry doors only enhance the space's charm.

Farmhouse Sink Allows for Easy Clean-Up

On the other side of the room, a farmhouse sink allows for easy clean-up after dinner. The window above fills the space with natural light and gives the owners a peek of the garden just outside.

Kitchen Complete With State-of-the-Art Appliances

Because this historic Tudor home has such great bones, Bria Hammel Interiors focused on increasing the functionality of each room. In the kitchen, this meant reorienting the space towards the back of the house and making way for spacious countertops, state-of-the-art appliances, an island and a dining area.

Green Area Rug Adds Earthy Touch to Kitchen

When paired with the crisp white cabinets, that brass hardware feels especially glamorous. Meanwhile, a green area rug softens the hardwood floors and adds an earthy touch to the kitchen as well.

Light-Filled Living Room With Pink Sofa

There's a lot to love about this colorful living room: the pastel pink sofa, the coral chair, and, without doubt, the white-painted fireplace. A large rug softens the hardwood floors and brings in a dose of yellow and blue, too.

Blue Bench Works Overtime in Living Room

Whether they need to slip off their shoes or pull up an extra seat for guests, the owners will get broad use out of this tufted bench. Patterned pillows and a pink throw make it a comfy, colorful spot for reading, too.

Blue-and-White Chairs Serve as Extra Seating

In addition to the pink sofa and coral chair, this colorful living room features two blue-and-white armchairs. In turn, the owners have plenty of seats for entertaining.

Crisp White Fireplace With Shiplap Surround

A closer look at the living room fireplace reveals a custom shiplap surround, which Bria Hammel Interiors added to breathe new life into the old feature. Meanwhile, two chairs with a small blue pattern complement the artwork and the area rug.

Pink-Striped Window Seat Between Bookcases

On the other side of the room, a pink-striped bench and pillows create a comfy window seat between two bookcases. If it ever gets to be too sunny, the kids can draw the roman shades closed.

Built-In Bookshelves Shine With Brass Hardware

Just like the kitchen and dining room, this living space features crisp white cabinetry with brass hardware. Blue vases and pink books decorate the shelves and infuse the space with warmth as well.

Master Bedroom With Soothing Blue Accents

Knowing that the owners had a new baby on the way, Bria Hammel Interiors wanted this master bedroom to be especially quiet and calming. Thus, they outfitted the space with striped curtains, a tufted bench and nightstands in soothing shades of blue.

Master Bed Softened By Blue Pillows, Duvet

Those blue hues extend from the rug to the plaid pillows, making the master bedroom feel calm and cohesive. With an ultra-soft duvet, the owners will have no trouble falling asleep in here after a long day.

Blue Nightstand With Lamp, Brass Hardware

On either side of the bed, each of the owners have access to a nightstand and table lamp. Brass hardware catches the natural light and ensures that this space complements the other rooms in the home.

Floral Wallpaper Enlivens Powder Room

Butterflies and birds take flight in this powder room, helping the small space feel full of interest and energy. Notice, too, how the designers used candles and striped towels to bring out the pink blooms of the wallpaper.
