In HGTV's Listed Sisters, real-estate and renovation whiz kids Lex and Alana LeBlanc come to the rescue of couples and families hoping to sell their current residence and move into their dream home. What does it take to make that happen? For starters, help the homeowners upgrade their current home – not simply to get it market ready, but to make it irresistible to buyers so that it will fetch top dollar. If the strategy works it will help finance the move to something bigger or better suited to the family's needs.

Real estate agent Alana's knowledge of the market and intuitive sense for her clients' needs help her narrow the searches of prospective homebuyers to find something that will suit both their taste and their budgets.

Meanwhile, Lex with her keen design style and renovation know-how heads up a crew of pros to renovate, repair and stage the clients' current home to maximize its resale value.

Combining their skill sets, Lex and Alana seem to have arrived at the perfect recipe. Alana takes the real-estate lead for facilitating the sale and finding the perfect new home. Lex plans and executes the renovation and staging of the current home to make it as enticing as possible (or at least as feasible, given any budget constraints) for a quick and easy sale. Check out a couple of examples of their home renovations below.

In this week's premiere episode, the Sisters help Tandy and Ryan, a young couple hoping to turn a profit on their suburban home so they and their three kids can move to a new home in the country. For the renovation, Lex and crew open up and modernize the kitchen, turn a poorly designed master bath into a luxe retreat and create a custom fireplace as part of an overhaul of the living room. Lex's design and staging for this project is a take on country chic with emphasis on a fresh, open feel.
