Flea Market Flips for Every Room in the House

You know that feeling you get when you score an incredible deal at the flea market? There’s not much that's better, right? Now imagine you’ve taken a piece that no one else saw potential in and turned it into something people will actually pay you for — now, we’re really talking!
If you’re as crazy about great flea market finds as I am, I hope you’ve been watching HGTV’s Flea Market Flip. Here’s the premise: Two teams of two are given $500 each and a limited amount of time to find, fix and flip three flea market items. Whoever makes the largest profit wins. And believe me, it gets pretty competitive. These contestants really harness their creativity to come up with some pretty incredible stuff. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorites for every room in the house. Check them out below.

Show off your favorite pictures with a basic ladder turned photo display. And the best part is you can easily swap out your photos to keep the entryway looking fresh.
This amazing bench is absolutely one of my favorite flips, and I wish so badly that I could have it in my home right now. That industrial green trunk + that stunning fabric = my dream decor combo.

Need extra storage in the kitchen? An industrial baker’s rack could be the perfect solution — especially if it features trendy wood siding like this one does!

I was a fan of this cart even before the makeover, and a colorful paint job makes it even better. Side note: The wood top is made from old wooden yard sticks. Flea Market Flip crush alert!
Dining Room
I love the fact that this classic bar cart can act as an ordinary cabinet most of the time. And then it transforms for entertaining. Perfect for fans of more traditional decor.

Great for the dining room, this petite cabinet can house favorite dishes or a cute collection. The bright white paint job and new door knobs make it a versatile piece that could be used in many different rooms.
Living Room
This one is giving the green bench a run for its money. I’m obsessed with it. By adding wood drawer fronts and raising the cabinet to accommodate the green drawers, this team created an awesome console that would just so happen to work perfectly in my home...
We’ve seen typeset drawers used for so many things now: jewelry, accessories, tiny collections, you name it. But I’ve never seen a typeset drawer turned into such a fabulous coffee table.

My favorite desk from season 5, this team simply added a nice wood top to a Singer sewing machine base for the perfect little work station.

Trunks and suitcases are pretty abundant at flea markets, but this team decided to make the trunk even cooler with a British flag top and contemporary legs. I imagine it would make a pretty stylish nightstand.

Color makes all the difference with this sweet bookshelf. The added shutters are a great touch, but the bold hue and pretty pattern really take it over the edge.
Garage
Get organized with a great set of drawers with an industrial theme. This team simply collected old metal drawers and bins and assembled their own shelf that would be ideal for tool storage. Dad approves.
