You know those Pinterest-perfect parties with the ornate, tiered dessert stands? Well, there's an easier, cheaper way to create the look at home. You just need some garden center pots and saucers and a pack of poster tack. Here's how to do it:

DIY Centerpiece 3 Ways 00:57

Use garden pots and saucers to make these three wow-worthy centerpieces.

Adorable, right? And best of all, it's easy to customize it for your home or your party. Buy glazed pots or spray paint plain terra cotta in the colors of your choice. (Be sure to use a food-safe sealer if you plan to use it for serving.)

Once it's assembled, fill it up! We tried desserts, fruit and succulents, but use it for a cheese plate, outdoor water feature or even a jewelry display. When you're done with the project, just pull off the tack, or make it permanent by attaching the pots and saucers with waterproof glue.
