I've learned how to do a shocking amount of things by watching YouTube video tutorials. In fact, almost all of my hair and makeup knowledge comes directly from a select group of YouTubers who have become my go-to beauty gurus.

As we prep for the holiday season, I wanted to share my favorite beauty geniuses with you so you can start planning out your glam holiday party looks. No matter what your challenge might be, you’re sure to find a fix with these tutorials.

It’s hard to think about makeup tutorials on YouTube without going to the hilarious and talented Jaclyn Hill. This former makeup artist tells it like it is and shares all of her best advice with humor, personality and loads of great tips. She’s working on her own makeup line, and in the past year has teamed up with cosmetic company Becca on a line of highlighters.

Many of the YouTubers who focus on makeup tutorials are quite young, so it’s nice to find a popular YouTuber who is a tiny bit older and can share tips and tricks that are geared toward women who are not in their twenties. Tati shares her opinions on various products and offers hands-on tutorials for everyone no matter your skill level.

You don’t necessarily find a ton of guys in this group of beauty gurus, but Manny has managed to quickly find his way to the top of the pack. And for good reason. He’s perfect to follow if you favor more dramatic makeup looks, but he also shares some key information about men’s skincare and products. His language is not always PG, so keep that in mind if you happen to have the kiddos around.
