We all know we need to eat fruit daily for optimal health — the USDA's MyPlate guidelines recommend filling half of your plate with fruits and veggies at every meal. Give kids a healthy alternative to ice cream by letting them serve themselves fruit inside of waffle cones. For a no mess approach, protect your table surface with a table cloth or runner, then set the waffle cones into plastic ice cream cone stands. Let the kids fill up their cones with their favorite fruits, then enjoy their creations at the table.
