Picking out a bottle of wine is overwhelming in general, but the pressure mounts even more when you're buying one for an intimate Valentine's Day date. Whether you plan to go all out this year or secretly impress your S.O. with a cheap-but-delicious wine, we found great options at every price point, from Champagne to rosé. Cheers!

Jam Jar Sweet Shiraz 2016, $9.99 — If you like sangria, then you'll love this shiraz from Jam Jar. It tastes like straight-up strawberry jam, just like the name suggests. Sweet, juicy and full-bodied, this wine would pair perfectly with any chocolate treat.

Palacios Remondo Rioja La Montesa Crianza 2013, $13.99 — Punctuated by warming notes of spice, leather and Mediterranean herbs, this Spanish wine offers flavors of oranges, cherries and plum. It's a versatile wine with well-balanced acidity that pairs nicely with just about anything.

Taylor Fladgate 10-Year-Old Tawny Port, $31.99 — Surprise your Valentine with this fruity, lucious port and a bar of rich dark chocolate. Ports are dessert wines meant to be enjoyed as digestifs after the meal. This one from Taylor Fladgate boasts notes of wood and oak with sweet apricot flavors.

Newton Unfiltered Merlot, $66 — Rich, brooding and inky, this merlot deserves a pairing as bold as it is, such as beef Bourgogne or a creamy vegetarian dish. Earthy and spicy notes mingle with caramel, coffee and cocoa flavors for a warming, round finish.

Stemmari Baci Vivaci, $12.99 — Lively, effervescent and very drinkable, this white Italian wine is the perfect apertif. Fruit forward with floral aromas, high minerality and a refreshing taste, this elegant, soft wine is a steal. Your S.O. will never believe it was less than $15.

Aresti Special Release Reserva Sauvignon Blanc 2016, $14.99 — If seafood is ony your Valentine's Day dinner menu, don't hesitate to pick up a bottle of this Sauvignon blanc. The palate boasts firm acidity with floral notes and hints of herbal and citrus flavors.

Donnhoff Riesling Trocken 2014, $25 — Not too sweet, not too dry, German rieslings typically posses soft acidity, high minerality and light fruit flavors. This elegant 2014 vintage from Donnhoff is no exception with a fresh, crisp taste, dry minerality and citrus and herbal notes.

Les Hauts de Janeil Syrah Rosé 2015, $12.99 — What's Valentine's Day without a beautiful, pink rosé? Strawberry and peach scents round out the nose, while sweet honey and bright grapefruit flavors complete this wine's refreshing flavor. Pleasantly acidic and dry, this round-bodied rosé is so easy to drink and would pair well with just about any dish.

Gerard Bertrand Cotes du Rhone Roses Rosé 2015, ~$16 — It's hard to pass up a bottle as gorgeous and holiday-appropriate as this one. (The bottom of the bottle is carved in the shape of a rose!) With fresh strawberry, watermelon and grapefruit flavors bursting forth, this delightfully light and drinkable wine would be perfect with a fish or chicken dish.

Chateau D'Escelans Whispering Angel Rosé 2015, $22 - This cult favorite from the cotes de Provence displays a beautiful pale pink color with tangy, citrus flavors and vibrant acidity balanced by smooth minerality. Lemon and subtle, delicate floral flavors round out this refreshing rosé.

Trader Joe's Blanc de Blancs, $4.49 — Easily the best bang for your buck, this sparkling wine from Trader Joe's is fruit-forward with pleasant tartness and lively character. It's delicious with a splash of elderflower liqueur or as part of this sparkling grapefruit cocktail.

Domaine Chandon Brut Classic, ~$20 — Smooth, rounded and soft with notes of buttery toast, Chandon's hallmark sparkling wine is a classic, solid choice to celebrate a romantic occasion. Pear, apple, citrus and vanilla flavors blend harmoniously with the crisp, bubbling texture.

Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Rosé, ~$48 — Want to go big this year? Pop open this fruity, plesantly dry brut rosé. Boasting intense, juicy berry aromas on the nose, a clean, delicate palate with ripe raspberry, strawberry and citrus flavors, and a silky, slightly savory aftertaste, this is much better than roses.
