Our 11 Favorite Fashion Moments From the 2015 CMA Awards

What do you get when you combine country music's best talents, the heart of Music City and a plethora of cowboy hats? None other than the CMA Awards, of course. Known as country music's biggest night, the 49th Annual CMA Awards knocked the show out of the park in a big way. From hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley's unrestrained jokes and burns to unique collaborations like Chris Stapleton and Justin Timberlake (what?!), this year's awards did not disappoint.

Yet you don't have to be a country music fan to appreciate good fashion, and there were plenty of statements for fashionistas to relish. From gorgeous gowns to sharp suits, we put together a few of our favorite fashion moments from the 2015 CMA Awards.

Twelve. That's how many costume changes co-host Carrie Underwood had throughout the course of the awards, which probably matches how many wardrobes I have in my entire closet. Although I'm partial to the Princess Leia costume she wore to open the show, she also looks like a princess in this stunning coral peplum dress topped off with a statement ring and ear cuff.

Yes, we're still reeling from Miranda and Blake's split *tear*, but Miranda is back in black in this sleek and strappy Versace gown. Racking up an award for Female Vocalist of the Year and a rockin' performance of her new song "Bathroom Sink," there's no question Miranda looks better than ever.

"I got a girl crush, hate to admit it but, I got a heart rush…" when I saw Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman of Little Big Town step onto the red carpet. Karen's sparkling gown with its floral overlay is simply elegant while Kimberly's bright orange mermaid dress with ruffled sleeves is a fun feast for the eyes. The group cleaned house with awards for Single of the Year, Song of the Year and Vocal Group of the Year.

It was a big night for this songwriter and backing vocalist turned solo artist, who racked up awards for Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year and New Artist of the Year. He also had arguably the best performance of the night with Memphis native Justin Timberlake when they sang "Tennessee Whiskey." The duo stole the show in more ways than one; JT looks dapper as always while Chris keeps it real with his country-casual, outlaw image that complements his humble and likeable demeanor.

A first-time nominee for both New Artist of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year,

"If I die young," at least let me look as cool and chic as The Band Perry. Dressed in coordinating black, Neil Perry and Reid Perry sport sharp tuxes while Kimberly Perry shows a little leg in a knockout one-shoulder dress.

Seven-time CMA award winner Reba McEntire performed her classic hit "Why Haven't I" with country duo Brooks and Dunn in a shimmery blue top and knee-length black boots, but she wasn't "goin' out like that." The star killed it in this shimmering silver gown with intricate black beading. She's still got it, folks.

So maybe he didn't actually "Strip It Down," but this black-on-black tux is enough to make us swoon.
Maddie and Tae

Music Video of the Year winners Maddie and Tae prove that they're having a golden moment and that it's actually pretty great to be a "Girl In A Country Song."
Kacey Musgraves

Like a glamorous old Hollywood actress, CMA Awards nominee Kacey Musgraves looks timeless and stunning in this plunging teal design.
Sam Hunt

Two words: you're welcome. We're loving plaid this fall, but I think it's safe to say we love it more on Sam Hunt.
