Rustic yet refined, this mountain hideaway makes greige look oh-so good! Wowing both our panel of judges and HGTV fans, architect Jerry Locati's luxe-meets-livable design checked everyone's boxes. With weathered wood-clad walls, a soaring ceiling and a stacked-stone fireplace, the home's master bedroom makes it easy to see why Jerry's design swept the competition.

But the master suite isn't the only room where form meets function; the kids' room packs a lot of style into these space-saving bunk beds. Clad in weathered wood, they continue the home's woodsy vibe, while a custom steel ladder adds a bit of industrial style. Clever drawers under the bottom bunk and a polished wood dresser ensure there's plenty of storage for overnight guests. (Note: While Jerry masterfully designed the home's architecture, which won him the prize, designer Tracey E Byrne was responsible for selecting the home's decorative finishes.)

Designers Ross Levy and Michael Ageno certainly aren't afraid of a little color. They gave this formerly monochromatic California home a big dose of personality with punches of sunny yellow and look-at-me hot pink. But the saturated shades don't stop on the outside — check out the photos below to see how they made color king indoors, as well.

Jennifer Siu-Rivera Photography
Proving that an all-white kitchen is still just right with HGTV fans, this stunner by Julie Bradshaw took top honors. Far from bland, Julie relied on luxurious surfaces, like the Calacatta marble countertop and backsplash, to break up the white cabinetry and inject a bit of natural color and movement. Weathered gray barstools pull a bit of the gray veining from the marble, while burnished gold pendants add a touch of glitz.

Designed by Olivier Goedert, this basement makes the most of a formerly dark and underused space. Olivier brightened it up dramatically with soft gray walls, a hardwood floor and unique overhead lighting, like the bubble glass chandelier illuminating the pool table. A nearby fully stocked wine cellar, two beer taps and a mini fridge ensure that guests will stay properly hydrated, while around the corner is a media room and fully equipped home gym.
