And Your Favorite Color of 2016 Is...
We gave you 12 colors and three weeks to vote. You totally surprised us with your winning pick.

Remember a few weeks ago when I said we were having a Color Vs. Color competition? A major battle of the hues? Well, let me refresh your memory.
HGTV.com editors scoured fashion runways, design showrooms and more to pick the top 12 colors of the season. Every color was chosen for a reason by our editorial team. We wanted hues that were evocative of food and nature, and these all certainly fit the bill. (Latte, anyone?) Then, we asked YOU, our loyal fans, to browse all 12 palettes and vote for your all-time favorite.
What was the color breakdown? Take a look:

We had two neutrals (latte, pearl); three pastels (blush, powder blue, mint); three pinks (peach, raspberry, blush); two blues (powder blue, indigo); two greens (mint, malachite); two gemstones (amethyst, malachite); two fruits (peach, raspberry); one flower (marigold); and two dyes (crimson, indigo).
Now, only one can be "crowned" the Color Vs. Color winner. If you remember, Whisper Gray won last year's title, with sweet and seasonal Coral grabbing the win in our innaugural year. So, which hue is this year's champ?
Powder Blue

Pastels aren't just for nurseries anymore! Now, they're perfect for every room in the house, from living rooms to kitchens. Powder blue is a fresh take on baby blue that pairs well with all your favorite hues of the season.
In this palette, powder blue is given a fresh update when mixed with shadow green and rose pink. Mix in various metallic accents for even more depth and texture. Not sure how to work this soft hue into your home? We've got 13 ideas to show you how.
