Step inside the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015, where the Bay Area's top designers show off the hottest looks in home interior design. A 98-year-old Tudor home designed by Julia Morgan, known best for her architectural work on the Hearst Castle, plays host to the showcase, and many of the designs within pay homage to the legendary architect.

Youthful, Glamorous Living Room Inspired by Yves Saint Laurent's Rive Gauche

Inspired by the late fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent and the Rive Gauche collection that he launched in 1966, interior designer Phillip Silver selected bold colors, glamorous accents and well-tailored pieces for the living room of the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. A Portuguese chandelier crowns the room, which is filled with French-style furnishings from Silver's own line.

Large Living Room Features Intimate Seating Arrangements, Glamorous Details

Designer Phillip Silver selected a quartz chandelier from Portugal, mirrored table top and antique commodes to add appeal to this fashion-inspired living room at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. The furniture is arranged in multiple seating areas to encourage intimate conversations in a room ready for a glamorous party.

Kitchen Mixes Crisp White Cabinets With Chocolate Brown Walls and Flooring

Designer Kathleen Navarra granted the homeowners' wishes of a light, airy kitchen with crisp white cabinetry and a cerused oak island topped with marble while weaving in her trademark use of color. Navarra turned to rich chocolate tones for the grasscloth wallcovering, hardwood floor and La Cornue oven and hood and painted the ceiling with a sky blue lacquer to add depth to the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015 kitchen.

Kitchen Features Glass Backsplash With Verre Eglomise Finish

Verre eglomise panels with gilded, mirror-like designs elevate the backsplash in the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015 and tie together the design of the crisp white cabinetry and chocolate La Cornue range.

Family Room Decked Out in Chocolate and Cream Tones

Chocolate-colored walls and floors create intimacy in this grand family room at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015, while marble mosaic tiles bounce light throughout the space. Designer Kathleen Navarra arranged a breakfast table topped with Copper Dune marble -- a stain-resistant marble with a warm brown finish -- to enjoy picturesque views of the San Francisco Bay.

Salon Offers Space for Intimate Gathering, Drink and Beverage Service

A bright, intimate room adjacent to the dining room at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015 serves as a salon for tea, beverages or small social gatherings. Alison Davin of Jute selected a counter-height wood and metal bar as a spot to offer beverage service or fill in as a food buffet for larger gatherings.

Dining Room Features Black-and-White Canvas Mural by Street Artist

With an interest in street art, designer Cecilie Starin turned to surfer and muralist Ian Ross, whose designs are inspired by kelp, for the eye-catching wallcovering in "Street Soiree," the dining room at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. Ross spray painted 17 yards of canvas for the wallcovering, which is complemented by black lacquered paint and a black-and-white striped ceiling.

Dining Room Features Interactive, Colorful Spray Paint Can Art Installation

Designer Cecilie Starin repurposed spray paint cans used by muralist Ian Ross, whose work is displayed on the San Francisco Decorators Showcase 2015 dining room's walls. The cans serve as colorful art installations and can be easily moved around within the installations. The urban design is juxtaposed by a Louis XVI mirror hung over the black marble fireplace.

Pyramid-Shaped Design Found in Lighting, Furniture and Artwork in Entryway

Struck by the mathematical intricacies required to design the home which played host to the 2015 San Francisco Decorator Showcase, designer Candace Barnes chose to incorporate geometric shapes throughout the grand entry and staircase. Pyramidal shapes are repeated in the hand-blown crystal chandelier, Myke Reilly painting, bronze and granite table and the nailheads trimming the stairwell carpet.

Powder Room Features Silk Fabric Wallcovering and Gold and Onyx Mosaic Tile

Designer Julie Rootes sought inspiration from natural elements for the powder room at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. Jim Thompson's "Tibetan Sun" silk fabric serves as the focal wallcovering and is complemented by 24-karat gold and onyx glass mosaic tile and a Calacatta gold marble sink.

Black-and-White Courtyard Features Photograph of Sculpture as Centerpiece

Art consultant Alex Ray selected a photograph of Antonio Canova's Neoclassical sculpture of Psyche and Cupid at the Louvre as the centerpiece of "An Ode to Innocence," the private courtyard at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. Ray showcases the photo in a weatherproofed light box that doubles as a lighting source at night. Landscape architect Frank Eddy added floating peonies in the shallow pool to add to the romance of the setting.

Hunter Green Master Bedroom Balances Masculine With Feminine

Designer Will Wick sought to create a cozy, '70s-style retreat that balances masculine and feminine in the master bedroom at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. Wick selected a deep, hunter green for the walls and balanced the shade with lush, cream tones in the headboard, bedding, carpet and drapery. Master Sitting Area Balances Traditional Design With Modern Furnishings

Plush carpet and a sofa covered with faux chinchilla fur add to the 1970s retreat-like feel in the master bedroom at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. Master Bathroom Inspired by 1960s Vogue Cover Offers Ultimate in Feminine Appeal

Inspired by 1960s fashion, designer Tineke Triggs created a luxurious retreat for the woman of the home in the En Vogue Salon at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. Designed around artwork that mimics a cover of Vogue magazine from the era, the bathroom features tile meant to mimic the curves of a couture Givenchy gown, a vanity with brass inlay and a crown-like chandelier.

A lush, green chaise and the ceiling's hand-painted paper finish add to the look of luxury in the En Vogue Salon at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. The mix of deep green, black, white and gold are a nod to art deco glamour.

The women's salon at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015 includes a space for a private vanity. Pendant lights frame the vanity mirror and are meant to mimic the look of earrings, while a vintage glass chandelier adds an additional touch of glamour to the art deco-style space.

For the dressing room at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015, designers HEather Hilliard, Phebe Williams and Erin Bixler selected a camel color paint and soft lighting to create a flattering environment for dressing. The shirred roman shades are meant to invoke a sense of dressmaker details.

An oversized mural composed of a 19th century arboretum etching serves as the backdrop to the gentleman's lounge at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. The room, meant to appeal to a well-traveled man, includes a jet-engine pendant light and faux crocodile textured wallpaper.

Industrial Style Bathroom Offers Masculine Appeal

A metal shower enclosure, subway tile and dark grout introduce masculine elements to the gentleman's bathroom at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. A black marble vanity and black tile floor laid in a basketweave pattern maintain the masculine appeal while softening the design a bit.

Elegant Home Office Includes Charred Wood Writing Desk

Though at first glance the office at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015 appears perfectly traditional, a closer look reveals a charred cedar wood writing desk that offers a bit of destructive, rustic charm. "The design was inspired by the idea that some of the most beautiful pieces of literature, art and design result from destruction," designer Brittany Haines says.

Sitting Area With Cozy Daybed in Home Office

The Ian Kimmerly painting which serves as a focal point in the home office featured at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015 was inspired by the unfocused, staticky look that damaged videos take. A cozy daybed and armchair offer a comfortable spot for reading or napping.

Showhouse Guest Room Features Study of Architect Julia Morgan's Designs

A study of architect Julia Morgan's work is lightly concealed by sheer curtains at the far end of the guest room at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. Designer Glenda Flaim selected the artwork as a nod to how people live in home design. "It is contrasting how an architect creates the space and how people live in that space," Flaim says.

A luxurious bathtub divides the vanity and dressing areas in the guest bathroom at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. Curtains can be drawn for additional privacy in the marble-topped tub.

Teen Girl's Room Offers Youthful Sophistication

Designed for a teen who has lived in Europe for a few years, Jeune Et Sophistique, the girl's bedroom at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015, offers a youthful sophistication with its timeless furnishings and fun colors. The dress hung on the ceiling was found in Paris and served as the inspiration for the space.

Boy's Room Comes to Life With Ombre Lacquer Wall Finish

Designed for the young man of the house, Karter's Krash Pad at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015 is brought to life with a vertical ombre lacquer wall finish by Willem Racke inspired by rock formations along the Pacific coast. Designer Susan Lind Chastain selected a Jean Paul Gaultier fabric with crushed car metal design for daybed pillows to add to the hip youthfulness of the space.

Boy's Bathroom Invokes Swimming Pool Theme With Blue Vanity and Mosaic Tile

Inspired by art depicting a yellow diving board set above blue pool water, designer Gregg De Meza created a whimsical bathroom for the young boy at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. Street artist Jeremy Novy created the bright yellow no diving symbol, while a floating blue vanity and pooling mosaic tile on the floor invoke a sense of pool water. Designed for a pair of twins filled with creativity and hobby interests, the Twins' Music and Play Room at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015 has space for them to indulge to their hearts' content. Designer Allison Caccoma introduced zones for artwork and homework, music rehearsal and karaoke, dance and theater performances. The suede wallcovering makes the space intimate and inviting while offering some soundproofing for more boisterous play.

The closet space is painted a bold orange that matches the art table on the other side of the room, adding the youthful hints of color that help the room come alive.

Room Offers Space for Games, Cocktails and Conversation With View of San Francisco Bay

A retreat for the adults of the household and their guests, the Pent Room at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015 includes space for a game of pool, beverage service and intimate seating areas. A wall of windows offer a view of the San Francisco Bay, and the warm wine-colored walls elegantly frame the stunning sunsets seen over the water.

Sitting Area Set for Cocktails and Conversations

This seating area sits adjacent to a wet bar in the Pent Room at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015, making it the perfect spot for adults to enjoy cocktails and conversation. The oversized pendant light is made from a synthetic resin to keep it lightweight.

Butterfly Print Wallpaper Brings Laundry Room to Life

Subtle shadows on the Christian Lacroix wallpaper make the butterflies appear to float above the walls in the laundry room at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. The room is as functional as it is beautiful, with ample storage throughout, a sink in the corner and drying racks tucked above the washer and dryer.

Lipstick Wallpaper Print, Brass Accents Add Girly Glam to Bathroom

For the sassy young lady, the Lip Service bathroom at the San Francisco Decorators Showcase 2015 is the perfect spot to prepare for the day or relax at the end of it. A cast iron tub is framed with brass wall paneling for a glam spot to soak, while Voutsa's Lips wallpaper adds feminine flair in a bold way.

With an ongoing drought in California, landscape designer Katharine Webster turned to drought-tolerant plants such as lamb's ear rather than flowers to complement the existing boxwoods and ivy that frame the brick walkway leading to the front door of the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. Berm Ensconces Coastal Live Oak Tree to Create Cozy Space for Reflection

Landscape design firm Siol added a berm to create an intimate space for reflection and meditation in the backyard of the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. A crane was used to lift a 15-year-old, drought-tolerant coastal live oak tree into the mounded area, which is lined with cedar shingles.

Coastal Live Oak Tree is Tolerant of Salty Air, Drought

Surrounded by a berm for insulation and lined with cedar shingles, this reflection area at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015 is a cozy respite from the winds off the nearby San Francisco Bay. The centerpiece of the design is a 15-year-old coastal live oak, which thrives in salty air and is tolerant of California's drought conditions.

Tudor-Style Home Designed by Architect Julia Morgan in San Francisco's Presidio Heights

Julia Morgan, known best for her architectural design of the Hearst Castle, designed the Presidio Heights home which served as the location for the 2015 San Francisco Decorator Showcase. The Tudor home was completed in 1917 and later expanded to feature 9,758 square feet of living space overlooking the San Francisco Bay.
