Miranda Lambert's Airstream Trailer Gets a Junk Gypsy Makeover
Amie and Jolie Sikes are giving this road-weary trailer a new look, inspired by Miranda Lambert's "Living Like Hippies" tour.

Junk Gypsies Amie and Jolie Sikes are no stranger to Airstream renovations. They've totally overhauled trailers in their signature collected style for everyone from Billy Jo Armstrong to Dierks Bentley to Miranda Lambert.

But Miranda's trailer isn't your typical Airstream. It has a name (Wanda) and its own Instagram account (@wandathewanderer.) As the bar and designated hangout spot on Miranda's tours, it gets more miles than an average Airstream, too. So after several years on the road, Wanda was ready for a new look. Here's what she looked like when Amie and Jolie got started:

After clearing out the old junk (and leftover booze,) Amie and Jolie got to work creating a spot inspired by Miranda's current "Living Like Hippies" tour, with lots of fringe, leather and deep velvet for a more sophisticated update. Their next step: upcycle, upcycle, upcycle. Take a look:

Seating was a major concern, so Amie and Jolie got creative at the salvage shop to find pieces that would comfortably fit a crowd. Their solution? Old church pews, plus an old diner booth that perfectly fit in one of the Airstream's rounded ends.
