Measure Drawer Interiors
Measure the interior dimensions of each drawer with measuring tape.

Cut Wallpaper
Measure and mark the wallpaper with a straight edge and pencil or marker using the same dimensions as the drawer interior. Cut along the traced lines. Tip: Installing wallpaper on wall surfaces requires precise matching of pattern repeats, but drawer interiors can be mismatched without sacrificing the overall intended effect.

Add Wallpaper
Dry-fit the wallpaper into the drawer to ensure a perfect fit. Follow the manufacturer's installation directions, and permanently attach the paper to the drawer's interior. Repeat for each drawer, and smooth out any air bubbles using the wallpaper smoothing tool. Tip: If you don't want to permanently attach the wallpaper with paste, lay the paper down inside the drawer completely dry, and hold it in place with double-sided tape.

Remove Old Hardware
Remove the existing hardware from each drawer with a screwdriver or drill. Tip: Keep the original hardware to preserve the dresser's authenticity when passing it down or selling it in the future.

Install New Knobs
Install knobs or pulls on each drawer using a screwdriver or drill, and securely fasten the hardware in place with washers and nuts. Tip: New hardware styles often come with attached nuts. To ensure proper installation, use needle-nose pliers to fasten the nuts securely to the bolts.
