Minty Green + Blue Teen's Room

Talk about living the teenage dream, right? This spunky bedroom design achieves floor-to-ceiling freshness with a crisp coat of minty-aqua blue paint, bright white curtains and three trendy panels of palm print over the bed.

Commit to Color

Show us a space with white walls that’s brighter than this head-turning bedroom design. We dare you. This boudoir shocks the senses (in the best ways possible, mind you) with a splattered backdrop, a royal purple bedspread and neat, bright-white linens.

Sophisticated Sage

Feeling a little nervous to dip your toes in color? You can’t go wrong with this cool, barely-there green hue. The soft sage walls serve as an elegant, airy backdrop to a dusty blue sofa, red floral pillows and a sizable, statement-making abstract painting.

Airy Ice Blue

This lovely living room uses an icy blue hue to its advantage. By coating the walls, ceiling and trim in varied shades of blue, the designer tricks the eye and visually expands the space. Charming, pale blue chairs and watercolor paintings offer the ultimate spot to flip through your summer read or call up a friend.

Washed in Gray

If there’s one room in your home that requires special attention to color selection, it’s your bathroom. Trust us: No one should have to witness a freshly-showered, au-naturale reflection in the mirror when surrounded by lime green walls. This soft, dove gray design gets it right. The hue creates a serene space to sink in the tub and offers ample amounts of flattering, forgiving light.

Earthy Elegance

This beautiful master bedroom features a textured, taupe wallpaper that offers warmth and sophistication to the design. Pro tip? Opt for wallpaper with ever-so-subtle pattern or texture, and the results will instantly appear more expensive. Subtelty is key, friends.

Warm + Welcoming

Who says bright and light designs must be baby blue? Here, a warm butterscotch yellow paint peeks through the built-in shelves, offering a cheery surprise in this otherwise neutral living room.

Divine Design

Talk about sleeping on a cloud, right? Pale blue walls pair with gorgeous blonde hardwood in this master bedroom to offer homeowners a heavenly haven to start and end their day. Dark wood details and a sleek iron canopy bed anchor the space and create a striking contrast for a chic, modern appeal.

Sunny Disposition

What could be brighter than sunny, lemon yellow? Rhetorical question, folks. This dining room design is spirited and stylish with citrus-inspired shades of yellow and green and playful gingham-print window panels.

Lighten the Mood

Never underestimate the power of bold accessories, people. Case in point: The moody, smoky gray walls seen here feel breezy and bright. An ivory mirror and a cool midcentury console table framed in white pop against the charcoal paint and instantly enliven the walls. The end result? Dazzling.

Exposed Brick + Wood Beams

Sun-drenched and stylish, the exposed brick and handsome wood beams speak for themselves, right? The white-washed, distressed red brick reflects the natural light in this piano-clad design to serve up an effortless "I-woke-up-like-this" cool factor that you don’t see every day.

Faux Shagreen + Silvery Wallpaper

Light is abundant in this sleek, silvery corner of the world. Posh, pebbled faux shagreen covers a simple buffet table for a perfect complement to understated, metallic wallpaper.

Serene Green

More is more in this minty master suite. Floor-to-ceiling floral curtains flank each side of the bed, adding depth to an otherwise floaty and oh-so-fashionable pastel space.

Complementary Combination

The dining set in this midcentury modern dining room was inherited by the homeowners who wished to have it included in the redesign of their home, alomg with funky art and a myriad of fun colors and textures. Yellow modern art adds a vibrant pop of color to gray walls, while a modern chandelier ties the room together. To complete the space, new raw silk draperies were added to the windows to give the homeowners the option of privacy.

Wall of Windows

Floor-to-ceiling windows = natural light galore. The designers added a coat of inky black paint to the soaring ceilings and used a mix of vibrant and moody hues to cozy-up and anchor the expansive, eclectic living room.

Blushing Beauty Room

A wash of blush coats the walls in this ultra-feminine dressing room. The design is made complete with gorgeous, gilded details, soft pink accessories and dainty glass accessories throughout.

Ocean-Inspired Hues

Why aspire for "airy" designs when you could have "beach-breeze" or "ocean-mist" instead? To reflect the beautiful beach views, subtle blues are mixed with a soft neutral color palette. The upholstered headboard provides a simple backdrop to the striped and patterned pillows.

Opposites Attract

With tall ceilings, dark walls and oh-so-handsome furnishings, this eclectic, midcentury design is the total package. Sunlight pours into the space, highlighting the contrast between the deep gray walls and an eye-popping, ivory fireplace. Twin coral chairs and a sofa piled with vibrant turquoise toss pillows add a pinch of color.

Rainbow Bright Bath

Bright, light and not a white wall in sight? Check, check and check. Technicolor meets geometry on these walls for a shocking, one-of-a-kind powder room design. Did we mention our obsession with the pitch-black sink surround, hot-white pulls and fiery-orange vanity mirror? Because, we’re obsessed.

Cool Blue Kids' Room

The powder blue color creates a light look throughout this fun, contemporary kids’ room. Matching twin beds feature textured frames and striped blankets over matching blue comforters. The blue is continued underfoot via a complementary striped floor rug.

Pile on Pigment

Bright is right. Terracotta-colored walls offer a warm, neutral backdrop for this eclectic — and electric — dining room design. A bold mix of hot pink, royal blue and lime green intertwine on the area rug. Against the wall, a stunning white buffet table holds twin, turquoise table lamps beneath an oversized mirror.

Going Full Glam

White walls are so last season. Proof? This glam, girly, Barbie-clad living space serves ample bright-light style with soft gray and aqua walls. Don’t worry, dolls — the designer was sure to add a healthy dose of bubblegum pink to the space for good measure.
