Little Black Trim

With so much good happening in one space, it’s hard to narrow down what to gush about first. The standout feature in this glamorous dining room for us, though, is the glossy black trim that frames the windows, doors and ceiling of this stunning dining room. Di-vine, ladies and gentlemen. Divine.

Welcome to the Jungle

If a tropical wallpaper and palm centerpiece don’t knock guests off their feet, what will? We’re enamored with the bright Kelly green hue paired with a trio of rattan poufs in this fun, free-spirited foyer.

Hello, Hexagon!

Strip down to the basics, in a basic bathroom? Um, no thanks! We’re more partial to washing off the day in this sleek shower with navy blue hexagon tiles and a perfectly transparent glass door.

Sweet on Pink

There's no doubt about it, pink is having a moment. Can you say, "Barbie dream kitchen"? Bubblegum pink cabinetry steals the show, while lacquered black cabinets overhead add edgy contrast. Add in that gorgeous gilded hardware and statement chandelier, and this space looks sweet enough to eat.

Mixing Stains

A huge (and oh-so-common!) mistake homeowners make is going too matchy-matchy with finishes throughout their home. Mix up the stains and finishes of the wood throughout your home, as seen here, to give your space a timelessness that will last for years to come.

Forest Green + Plaid

Pro-tip: A rich forest green and plenty of classic plaid prints will add warmth and coziness to otherwise sparse spaces. Doesn’t this urban loft appear infused with ultra-homey vibes via those plaid-print statement drapes and a forest green sofa? Yes, yes it does. So ultra homey, friends.

Minimalist Playroom = Maximal Playtime

This year, less is more for playroom designs, and we are so here for the minimalist approach. Let’s be honest. Your kids are bound to create an epicenter of chaos with their neon-colored dolls, board games and coloring books. Might as well minimize the visual clutter as much as possible, right? Utilize clean lines, white (wipe-able) furniture and a giant rug that mimics their free-spirited finger-painting projects.

Chic Stucco Wall

Queue the drooling, pals. We’re obsessing over this unique take on a bright white kitchen. Who needs subway tiles when you could have a statement-making stucco wall instead?

Opalescent Tiles

Speaking of subway tiles — if you’re going to use 'em, opt for tiles of this striking opalescent variety. The tiles seen here are laid in a traditional horizontal pattern, but each glimmering tile is unique and offers this kitchen an ultra-dreamy design loaded with dimension and glamour.

Floor-to-Ceiling Storage (With a View!)

A quick round of applause for this gorgeous, galley kitchen with floor-to-ceiling cabinetry. The design keeps the spectacular ocean view where you can see it, all while keeping the tools, pantry items and other miscellaneous kitchen eyesores where you can’t see them.

Color Block Bedrooms

Color blocking is a trend we're excited to get behind. We love how this playful pairing of midnight blue and aqua-hued walls is highlighted with punches of rich pink to create this flirty, feminine master suite.

Packed With Pastels

Talk about sitting pretty, right? We’re positively swooning over the soft swirl of pastel hues used to outfit this preppy sitting room. Bring on a book club!

Herringbone Hardwoods

Let’s hear it for Tim Barber Ltd. right now, friends. This design marries modern stainless steel with ridiculously stylish reclaimed herringbone hardwood floors and a sky-high vaulted ceiling? Our jaws are on the floor. The results are almost too good to be true. Almost.

Stare-Worthy Stairs

Why have normal, non-carpeted stairs in your home when you could have stairs that showcase an elegant, texture-rich carpet, like the one used here? These are the questions you should be asking yourself on an everyday basis, people.

Elevated Kids' Spaces

Fact of life: Kids love a lofted bed moment, and so do we. There’s something so indescribably fun about sleeping midair with a full view of all your toys below. Throw in a pirate flag, a boho wall hanging and a ruby red rug that serves as an ample play area, and you have yourself an elevated cool factoras well.

Booth Seating

Prepare to cozy up with your boo in booth seating in your own casa! Designers are using booths to bring families together for highly comfortable (and highly fashionable) meal times in 2018.

Highlight Your Assets

It’s not enough to simply have character with traditional millwork details these days. Nope. This year it’s all about highlighting what you’ve got with a splash of poppin’ pigment. If you’ve got it, flaunt it, right?

Lantern Fixtures

Lovely lighting fixtures are always appreciated around here, and these lantern-inspired pendants are no exception. We’re delighted by the whimsical lantern duo used to warm and brighten this white cottage kitchen.

Modern Muse

Funky, feminine portrait art is all the rage this year, and we’re huge fans. What can we say? We’re gluttons for girl power and gorgeous art, so this trend is one of our top faves for 2018.

Gray + Gold

Soft gray and a rich yellow gold prove to be quite the pair in this bold, modern living room. After a few years of the trendy (too) bright white and cold gray spaces, we’re welcoming this cozy mix of warm and cool colors with arms wide open.

Modern Marries Organic

We’re suckers for this blend of warm, bohemian finishes with crisp, snow-white walls and streamlined furnishing designs. The marriage of found, earthy art and sleek high-end pieces proves that one can achieve a character-rich design without sacrificing on modern accessibility or sleek silhouettes.
