Kim Myles gives the allusion of height in this low-ceiling family room with tall built-ins, soft blue paint and panels of flocked wallpaper. Design tip: Wall-to-wall built-ins are a great way to add function to otherwise long and bland walls; plus, they give you a space to seasonally arrange your accessories.
Paint colors:
Wall: Tide Pools 480E-2, Behr Flat Enamel
Ceiling: Country Mist 480E-1, Behr Flat Enamel

Materials
Wooden frame
Fabric
Staple gun
Steps
1. Build wooden frames from thin pieces of wood cut to size at your local home improvement store.
2. Lay out your fabric on a smooth surface and place the frame on top.
3. Fold one side of the fabric over the frame staple the fabric to the frame. Pull tightly to get a crisp edge, and repeat on all three sides.
4. Cut off excess fabric and hang in your room.
