Before you can take a dip to get clean, you need to clean your tub. Afterall, no one wants to relax in a dirty tub. Spray a bathroom cleaner and use a sponge to remove stubborn stains.

The key to any luxurious spa is a fizzy bath bomb that fills the space with floral scents. Making one at home couldn't be easier either. Start with a glass bowl and add 3 cups baking soda, 1 cup cornstarch, 1 cup citric acid and 1 cup Epsom salt.

Stir all of the ingredients together for a few seconds and then add 4 tbsp. coconut oil and about 10 drops of essential oil. Pour in a small amount of water to help hold all of the ingredients together and then mix together by hand. You want a sticky consistency that clumps together.

This step is optional but if you want to give your bath bombs a splash of color, add about 10 drops of vegetable-based food coloring and mix together by hand. We recommend trying a bunch of different colors. They will look great on display in your bathroom.

Next, fill bath bomb molds with the mixture from the previous step. If you don't have a mold, ice trays will work too. Once filled, seal the mold and press together for a few seconds and then release. Your bath bomb is complete! Allow it to dry for 24-hours before using.

When you're ready to relax, reach for one of your colorful DIY bath bombs and toss it in the tub.
