Makeup Be Gone

Having clean makeup brushes is a must. However, it's not always the easiest chore. Create a makeup brush washing station with hot glue, and soon, you'll be cleaning every brush in sight. First, apply a variety of hot glue lines across the bottom of a glass bowl. Once the glue is dry, add water, some brush shampoo and clean away! After you're done, you can easily pull off the hot glue lines and clean the bowl to reuse later.

A Picture-Perfect Hack

How many times have you walked past that one picture frame that refuses to stay put? We'll answer for you: Too many times. Fix it for good by placing a small amount of hot glue to each backside corner. Once it's dry, rehang the photo. You'll never hang a photo the same way again.

Get a Grip

We've all got that one pair of shoes that we love, but simply can't trust. Believe it or not, adding a few squiggly lines of hot glue to the shoe's sole makes all the difference. Getting some traction has never been so easy.

Keep the Quack Clean

However cute they may be, bath toys can have a very dirty secret — trapped moldy water. Stop the problem before it starts by plugging the toy's hole with hot glue. Pro Tip: Be sure your hot glue gun is on a low setting so it doesn't melt the plastic toy.

Manage the Scratches

Nothing will mess with your space's feng shui quite like realizing your favorite piece of decor is scratching your oh-so-perfect coffee table. Solve the problem by adding hot glue bumpers to the base of a pot, vase or other decor piece.

Revamp Your Rug

Rug pads are oh-so-necessary, but sometimes even they don't do the trick. Adding a dab of hot glue to the bottom corners of a rug will give it the grip it needs to stay in place.

Hack for Your Hangers

Getting the clean, orderly closet of your dreams is easier than you may think. Applying a strip of hot glue to the top of your hangers will add the traction your clothes need to stay in place.

Slip No More

Is there anything more annoying than your eyeglasses slipping down your nose while you're trying to do, well...anything? We think not. It's time to whip out your hot glue gun, and fix that pesky problem. Add a dab of hot glue to the bridge piece of your glasses. Spread the glue around with a toothpick, and let it dry. Now you've got the grip you need.

Stop the Stretch

If the arms of your glasses have stretched over time, all is not lost. Adding a dab of hot glue will make all the difference in the world. Fold in the arms of your glasses, and add a small amount of hot glue near the hinges. Let the glue dry completely, and enjoy the new perspective.

Resize Your Ring

Take those ill-fitting rings out for a spin. Turns out, all you need is a little hot glue to make that oversized piece fit perfectly. Simply place a small amount of hot glue along the back of the band, let it dry and voila!

Bring on the Bumpers

Get the quietness of soft-close drawers without spending a fortune. Simply remove the drawer from the cabinet and add a spot of hot glue to the inside corners. Once dry, return the drawer to its home. Try slamming the drawer closed, we dare you.
