9 Reasons You'll Love 'My Flippin' Friends'

These hardworking Milwaukee pals make the Central Perk crew look like a bunch of slackers.

Jenni Radosevich has a weekly date with her friends Mike, Alan, Mallory and Benji. Over coffee, the fivesome dishes about the hottest...real estate opportunities. Jenni's a DIY blogging powerhouse (check out her latest projects, classes, and products at I Spy DIY); Mike is an expert on the Milwaukee real estate scene; Alan is the group's project manager; and Mallory and Benji round out the design team. Together, their renovation projects are making them money — and making Milwaukee lovelier — one funky, old home at a time.

Even their office is Instagrammable.

Jenni's well acquainted with lifestyle trends, and every space she and the team touch is more than ready for its close-up on social media. Other offices, please be dreamier.

They aren't afraid to get their hands dirty.

Don't mistake these folks for the ingénues you see on DIY Network's First Time Flippers — they've done this before, and all five of them swing their sledgehammers like they mean it. (They're also quite nimble: Alan does an impressive job of clambering up the side of a house to peer in through a second-story window.)

They have a knack for turning bargains into wildly clever details.

Nothing to see here, just a $5 find from a local thrift shop restored and converted into a barn door to conceal a stacked washer/dryer on the second floor.

This bold staircase...

Jenni hires "Milwaukee Mike," a local fabricator she met at a craft fair, to make a custom stair rail. (Cost: $1,400. Giving the flip a one-of-a-kind, modern feature: Priceless.) She then adds a layer to the look with a luxe, traditional runner that pops against the house's white walls and its mostly-neutral details.

This delicate greenery...

Textural, tone-on-tone foliage is a fresh take on indoor arrangements — and it happens to be seriously cost-effective. Keep your eyes peeled for echoes of this all over the My Flippin' Friends house.

This kitchen and dining area are just begging for a party.

You'd never know this airy space was cramped and closed-in before the team reimagined it (by vaulting the ceiling, knocking down the walls between rooms, building and installing a copper light fixture above the table and installing bamboo floors...for starters).

This wall of treasures...

While some rehabbers would rip out the nasty bits of a century-old flip and leave it as a white box for the new owners, Jenny, Mallory and Benji decide to install a bit of new character in the form of this built-in ($2,200 very well spent). Speaking of smart spending, that DIY live-edge cedar coffee table in the center of the room rings in at less than $200.

This flip's honeycomb of hexagons...

When was the last time you saw a home with a geometric theme? This mirror and tile in the downstairs bathroom have colleagues on the wall in the kitchen and on the floor in the master bath upstairs.

This just-because breakfast tray in a bedroom...

Staging a home themselves can save flippers thousands of dollars, of course, but it's pretty clearly a labor of love for this design team. (On labor, by the way, Alan's wife gives birth to their daughter halfway through this episode. And on love, Jenni goes on a date with a flipper she meets online. Any guesses as to what might be in store for the next episode?)

Something tells us there's definitely going to be a next episode.
