7 Reasons To Visit HGTV's Santa HQ

Whether you've been naughty or nice, you're sure to have a sleigh-full of holiday fun at HGTV's Santa HQ.

Just as we’re finishing up the last bit of our Thanksgiving leftovers (arguably the highlight of any turkey feast), the holiday season is upon us. We’re trading in our PSLs for Peppermint Mochas, crafting handmade wreaths and breaking out our favorite festive tunes.

Here at HGTV, we’ve been in the holiday spirit for months as we prepared to launch our holiday wonderland, Santa HQ, at 10 malls across the country.

And now it’s (finally) open! I got a chance to visit one of the Santa HQ locations, and I’m confident that even the likes of Buddy the Elf would be impressed. But don’t take my word for it – find out where you can visit Santa HQ here.

Here are seven reasons why you need to add Santa HQ to your family’s holiday checklist:

Two words: Online Reservations

Sure, the pure joy that a visit with Santa brings your child is worth the wait, but what if I told you that you could skip the line? That’s right, you can make reservations for SantaHQ in advance.

Elfie Selfies

Using a device inside Santa’s workshop, you can snap a selfie to be the star of your own dancing-elf video. Spread the holiday cheer and share your custom video with friends and family on the spot!

HGTV Handmade Projects

The DIY experts of HGTV Handmade, our craft and decor-focused YouTube channel, share step-by-step guides for festive crafts and gifts inside Santa’s Workshop. How cute is this candy cane centerpiece?

Step on the Naughty or Nice O’Meter to determine where you land on Santa’s list. Do you change the empty toilet-paper roll? Are you nice to your servers? There’s no fooling the big man in red.

Elf-Ray Vision

Santa HQ takes the traditional visit with Kris Kringle to the next level by incorporating state-of-the-art technology into the experience. Use a provided portal or download the Elf-Ray Vision app to discover the secret world of Santa’s elves in 2D and 3D.

The Magical Light Show

Every 20 minutes, a spectacular light show set to classic yuletide tunes paints Santa HQ red and green – a sure-fire way to put shoppers in the holiday spirit.

A Visit with Mr. Claus

For kids, this moment marks the pinnacle of their holiday experience. For parents, it’s a quintessential photo to share with family. At Santa HQ, you have the option to order your prints onsite or at home!

Share your Santa HQ photos on Twitter and Instagram with #lovehgtv for a chance to appear on HGTV.com.
