All About

Come along for the ride, as we check out three of the most unusual houses in the country. First, on Long Island Sound, in Bellmore, New York, we see a huge modern house with wavy steel designs that is painted aqua blue with pink accents. Architect Paul W. Athineos designed the place, which was was inspired by houses the homeowner had seen in St. Tropez, France. Next it's on to Scottsdale, Ariz., where there's a house that looks "rusty and leaning" to give it that perfect ready-to-fall-over look. The owners of the 2,900-square-foot house had it intentionally built that way. They wanted it to look as if it literally rose from the desert sand. Last up is a look at a 100-year-old the water tower near a turn-of-the-century Victorian mansion in Pasadena, Calif. The tower, not the mansion, is home to a local psychiatrist.
