What's With That House?
More from the showSee some of the most unusual houses in the country. First, in a small Arizona town is a house that looks like a giant 2,000- square-foot football helmet sticking out of a hillside. The home was constructed like a huge papier mâché project with quick-drying cement sprayed onto a humongous balloon. Then, in Santa Monica, Calif., between residential homes and industrial properties, is an urban Zen house that gives new meaning to the term "home industry." The artists have made a combination modern loft-like house, work studio and enormous cactus garden. Finally, in Reading, Penn., is a three-story row house with streamers and exterior details that look like party favors left over from the night before. Inside, is a veritable piñata full of art. The challenge is spotting the actual living space in this 2,000-square-foot home.
