Shady Patio Cover

Parents Debbie and Jerry Hattox enjoy planning home improvement projects that involve their three children. They want to turn their sun-baked patio into a shady, relaxing retreat that they can all enjoy by building a giant patio cover. The project includes painting beams for cover, measuring and attaching a ledger board to the house, creating mosaic pots and installing posts. They finish by putting in crossbeams and staining the patio concrete.
