Soon to be empty nesters, Marco and Maria, are desperate to sell their four bedroom home so they can travel and move closer to their grown up kids. But after six weeks on the market, eighteen viewings, and no offers, they're not going anywhere. Billed as a condo alternative just minutes from downtown, the home is in a great location. And, although the owners insist there's nothing wrong with it, the home's overstuffed, cluttered interiors, religious art, fake flowers, ramshackle mudroom, and astroturfed backyard are seriously turning buyers off. In order to compete with the area's modern luxury condos, property expert Sofie Allsopp comes up with plans for a radical overhaul. And while contractor Anthony Sayers and his team declutter, reveal the home's impeccable hardwood floors, and transform the mudroom and backyard, Sofie gives Marco and Maria a lesson in how to present a house for sale.
