From a home in the shadow of a mountain range ... to a palace on the prairie ... to a humble log cabin in Kansas ... the West has always attracted those with an independent streak. Folks like Will Rogers, Laura Ingalls Wilder and Buffalo Bill Cody all called the range home. They helped to shape this country as they made the prairie their own, and when they settled down, their homes on the range had as much personality as they did.
