Newlywed power-couple Amy and Graham are eager to ditch their basement digs at her mother's place for a luxurious home of their own. But their busy schedules mean they have no time for a house hunt. That's where power bros Drew and Jonathan take over. The good news for Jonathan is that Amy and Graham see eye-to-eye on interior design, but then he literally hits a brick wall during the kitchen demo. As for Drew, the bad news is that Graham only wants a home in the neighborhood he grew up in—a sought-after enclave where competition is tough and every house sells for more than asking price.

After years of living out of a suitcase, it's time for globetrotting Aussies Levi and Alysha to put down roots. And since they've already landed dream jobs in their dream city, the only thing left on their list is a dream home. With the couple more focused on lifestyle than size, Drew leads the hunt for a dog friendly home in a trendy urban neighborhood where compromise is key. Later, Jonathan comes up with an optical illusion to compensate for saggy walls in the kitchen, and the vintage charm of a century home reveals its dark side with a shocking surprise that threatens to bust the budget wide open.

Juggling after-school activities and busy careers, Mark and Eugenie haven't had much time for house hunting. And while the couple has a luxurious list of must-haves, Drew and Jonathan warn they'll need to compromise if they want to box up their rental situation for good. Encouraging the couple to keep an open mind, Drew comes up with a creative range of options including a sprawling showstopper that might just deliver everything on their wish list. Jeff and Sara Jones are Baylor sweethearts and newlyweds, returning to Waco to find a house where they can settle down and one day raise a family. Their all-in budget is $235,000 and they're hoping to find a house with three bedrooms, a big kitchen, and a big backyard in the Mountainview area. The first house they visit is the 'Beach House,' aptly named after the brightly painted surf-themed bedroom they find on the tour. Chip and Joanna bring the Joneses to 'The Schoolhouse' next. The Schoolhouse is much bigger and has a beautiful backyard, but is also more expensive, which would mean less flexibility in their renovation budget. Their last option is the 'Red Door House.' While the house isn't in the Mountainview area like they were hoping, Sara and Jeff are impressed by its character and curb appeal.

Luke and Rachel Whyte are a young couple with a growing baby girl, and they feel it's time to settle into a family-sized house. They're looking for a house with 3-4 bedrooms, and Rachel is hoping for a space that she can make into a playroom/home office. They have an all-in budget of $277,000, which gives them nice flexibility in the Woodway area. The first house they visit Joanna jokingly names the 'Chip House' because its reddish roof and orange-colored bricks remind her of a sunburned Chip on their first date. The Chip house is cute with a nice backyard, but overall it feels small. The next house has a similar red brick exterior to the Chip House, only bigger and slightly newer, so Chip and Joanna call it 'Chip 2.0.' Inside, several areas are totally falling apart and the carpeted master bathroom needs a major overhaul. Their last stop is nicknamed the 'Taj Mahal' for its lofty location at the top of a hill and the ornate furniture they find inside. The view is stunning and the house has a balcony that looks over nearly all of Waco.
