Chip and Jo show them a range of fixer uppers each with its own unique style and challenge. Will they choose the 1965 traditional covered in lime green carpeting, the lovely move-in ready with insufficient bedrooms, or the neglected farmhouse with lots of acreage that Devon says should be surrounded by crime tape? The challenges escalate when the Gaines' mini-inspection reveals some unusual damage by an unexpected antagonist adding a 3,000-dollar sting on the Jonklaas' tight budget.
