The Gulleys are returning to Waco after a 10-year hiatus in Chicago to be closer to friends and family. Amy's biggest fear is flooding after a disastrous experience at their previous home. Will they choose the 'Fun House' with the funky multi-layered layout? Or will their choice be the 'Neat and Tidy Ranch House' with tons of trees but a very vanilla exterior? Or will the winner be the 'Tire Swing' house with the sloped backyard? Chip's nerves are on edge as the Gulley's new house shows signs of previous flood damage on top of an unexpected $8,000 HVAC problem. Could this deal mean the end of a long friendship for the Gaines and the Gulleys?

Or the secluded 'Little House on the Prairie' with a creek in the backyard? Whichever they pick, it's a sure bet that Chip will continue to bug Joanna with his crazy antics.

Jeff and Sara Jones are Baylor sweethearts and newlyweds, returning to Waco to find a house where they can settle down and one day raise a family. Their all-in budget is $235,000 and they're hoping to find a house with three bedrooms, a big kitchen, and a big backyard in the Mountainview area. The first house they visit is the 'Beach House,' aptly named after the brightly painted surf-themed bedroom they find on the tour. Chip and Joanna bring the Joneses to 'The Schoolhouse' next. The Schoolhouse is much bigger and has a beautiful backyard, but is also more expensive, which would mean less flexibility in their renovation budget. Their last option is the 'Red Door House.' While the house isn't in the Mountainview area like they were hoping, Sara and Jeff are impressed by its character and curb appeal.

Luke and Rachel Whyte are a young couple with a growing baby girl, and they feel it's time to settle into a family-sized house. They're looking for a house with 3-4 bedrooms, and Rachel is hoping for a space that she can make into a playroom/home office. They have an all-in budget of $277,000, which gives them nice flexibility in the Woodway area. The first house they visit Joanna jokingly names the 'Chip House' because its reddish roof and orange-colored bricks remind her of a sunburned Chip on their first date. The Chip house is cute with a nice backyard, but overall it feels small. The next house has a similar red brick exterior to the Chip House, only bigger and slightly newer, so Chip and Joanna call it 'Chip 2.0.' Inside, several areas are totally falling apart and the carpeted master bathroom needs a major overhaul. Their last stop is nicknamed the 'Taj Mahal' for its lofty location at the top of a hill and the ornate furniture they find inside. The view is stunning and the house has a balcony that looks over nearly all of Waco.
