This amazing assortment of homes from all over the world includes a residence in Florida where even the family dogs have temperature controlled quarters, a New Zealand house you can move when the going gets rough and a home in Morocco that's been restored to the way it was when President Roosevelt came to dinner. A house in Canada looks like two ships dragged up on a beach while one in Wisconsin resembles an Egyptian temple, a Japanese home is made from sun-dried soil and there's a houseboat like a Manhattan loft in the Czech Republic. A trip to the bathroom in a Mexican home could make you dizzy, a house in Thailand is entirely clad in glass louvers, a Brazilian residence has been all the way around the world and a subterranean box room in Seattle makes a comfortable condo.

Chip and Joanna Gaines take Genny and Russ Davis on a tour through three homes in Woodway, Texas. Woodway is considered "upper-crust", an established neighborhood with older homes, large trees and massive yards. They want to move to Woodway because of the city's reputable school district. However, Genny Davis is a real estate agent and Russ builds new homes for a living and they are a bit reluctant to move into a fixer upper - a fact that distresses Chip but inspires Joanna. Will the Davis' choose the "Tree House" with the pool, massive fireplace and monster tree blocking the front door? Or will it be the asymmetrical "Stonehenge House" Chip says looks like an airplane and Russ describes as over-the-top masculine? Or maybe they'll choose the third house with the shared driveway on a quiet cul-de-sac? The drama escalates when an unexpected permit problem costing 30,000 dollars threatens to turn this fixer upper into a flop. Will the Davis' jump ship and build a new home instead?

Chip and Joanna are excited for the challenge of finding a home for the man they consider to be Waco's 'most eligible bachelor.' They take David on a tour of three spacious lakeside houses. The Red Roof House is the first house they visit, and David is taken aback by its funky and odd 1960s style. Their next stop Chip dubs the Bachelor Pad. The inside is wide open with high ceilings, perfect for hosting. The backyard is smaller than David was hoping for, but the inside of the house holds so much potential, he really has to weigh his options. The Peach House is last, clearly outdated and in need of some work.
