The Sheins thought renovating their small master bathroom would be easy, but their contractor proved them wrong. While working on the bathroom, he fell through the floor and into the living room not once but twice and he seems to have cut through the support joists on his way down. He also installed faulty plumbing that leaked into the living room, did a poor job with the tile floor and installed a door in their bedroom that leads to nothing but real structural devastation. Now, John DeSilvia and his team come to the rescue and show the Sheins just how smooth their bathroom renovation should have been.

After being outbid on 4 previous houses, these high-school sweethearts turn to Josh Temple for help with landing a home in Maplewood's family oriented neighborhood. Their ideal home would have 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, high ceilings, a white kitchen, and a flat yard with no big trees. Armed with a budget of $450,000 the crew takes to the streets to knock on doors and ask homeowners if they would be willing to sell their home, with just 24 hours to decide! Neighborhood residents speak wonders about the area, and for this same reason, few seem eager to part with their homes. Fortunately, three separate homeowners invite the couple into their home to take a tour. Anna Berlinrut is a homeowner with a penchant for travel, and is excited by the prospect of trading in her home for an RV and the open road. Jeffrey Bauer has a growing family and is searching for a larger home himself. Alison and Mike Griffin have been thinking about selling in the next year, and due to that, are currently undergoing some renovations. Will Darrin and Adriana find a home that suits all their needs, including their budget? Will the homeowners decide they are ready to go into contract this weekend and have their home sold on the spot?

Or will it be the asymmetrical "Stonehenge House" Chip says looks like an airplane and Russ describes as over-the-top masculine? Or maybe they'll choose the third house with the shared driveway on a quiet cul-de-sac? The drama escalates when an unexpected permit problem costing 30,000 dollars threatens to turn this fixer upper into a flop. Will the Davis' jump ship and build a new home instead?
