Working with a budget of $40,000, she's hoping to get a house with architectural interest. A Victorian, Cape Cod or a cottage with a little color would be ideal. Even though she's willing to sacrifice having bedroom by getting a sleeping loft, she still wants a fully equipped kitchen and full bathroom. Another consideration is having enough space for her 6 foot 5 inch boyfriend and fellow firefighter, Tudor, who is helping her on this house hunt. As Nicki looks at homes that range from 96 to 240 square feet, she'll learn about the other challenges of going small.
