Natalie is overwhelmed by a second floor addition her mother Ingrid started, but couldn't finish. Ingrid poured her life savings into a small cottage in the hope of turning it into her modern dream home. But after spending hundreds of thousands of dollars, the job's not done and the work's all wrong. Tragedy strikes after Ingrid suffers an aneurysm, followed by two strokes. Her daughter Natalie tries to balance taking over the renovation with taking care of her mom, but soon realizes she's in way over head. She turns to Mike to finish the house. Mike and his team will need to fix the HVAC, redo plumbing, replace windows and properly seal the home to finish the job in the best way under the worst circumstances.
