Season 1, Episode 6

Randy's Hardwood House vs Slay's Stinky Disaster House

A house on Cherry Lane in White Settlement is in pretty bad shape. There are concerns from all movers, but Cody thinks the problems seem mostly cosmetic and, if the inside is good, then it is worth buying. Surprisingly, the bidding gets up to $400 and Cody is caught up in the fervor. He wins the house for $500, which is much more than Randy or the Snows think it is worth. When Cody and Suzi tour the interior, their hearts sink. The house is a disaster on the inside. Casey is adamant that the house shouldn't be moved, but Cody wants to try anyway, since he already has $500 invested. Suzi comes up with a plan for the interior. Casey refuses to move the house, but brings his equipment and tells Cody he is welcome to try it himself. Cody tries to lift the house…when disaster strikes. Meanwhile, Randy wins a sweet little house in excellent condition on the exterior, , but there's a surprise inside: strange feature walls and paint, old carpeting and in need of bathroom and kitchen updates, this house should turn a pretty profit at auction time.
