Browse before photos of the Ellis's dated kitchen. Currently used as both the family's cook space and an in-home bakery business, this kitchen needs more storage, prep space, updated appliances and better lighting.
Meet homeowners Chaz and Ashley Ellis, their small, '70s kitchen needs a major overhaul.
Ashley's 2-year-old home-based bakery business has grown beyond the small amount of cabinet storage and prep space available in their kitchen.
The kitchen's dated appliances, tile backsplash and countertops are original to the home which is 40 years old.
The kitchen's single pantry is far too small to store food and cookware for both the family and bakery business. The homeowners would like to add a second pantry and eliminate the soffit and extend the cabinets to the ceiling for added storage.
The existing lighting is ineffective for everyday tasks but is especially too dim for the detail work needed when Ashley is decorating cakes.
