When Karen and Sat bought a house in a mountainside community, they wanted a large family home close to friends and family. 10 years later, they're now a family of four lost in a 5000 square foot house. And this big home came with one tiny problem?a poorly designed layout that Sat can't stand. But Karen thinks, with a little help, they could reorganize the space to the rooms that really need it. Here to find a sensible solution for this family of four are two experts. Realtor Todd will try to entice them with some open concept options. While designer Jillian will redesign they're claustrophobic layout to try to make sense of their compartmentalized mess of a home.
