Season 2, Episode 6

Washington Square Kid and Adult Split Apartment

The Novogratz are off to Washington Square Park, where they meet the Ellant family. They have a tight three-bedroom apartment, with a living area that is in desperate need for some so definition and decluttering. They decide to use bold and fun wallpaper to designate and separate the space. Cortney & Bob decide to turn this project into a friendly design competition, with Cortney taking on the adult side, and Bob the kid's side. Cortney gives the adult-side a relaxed vibe, with a blue color palette, a soft rug, and a fancy chandelier over the dining room table. She also gets a tired old chair reupholstered, completely revitalizing it. Bob, meanwhile, gives the kids side some much needed storage. He covers the walls, and even the doors, with creative wallpaper, and adds unique touches specific to the kids' tastes. Cortney & Bob show that with the just a little bit of work, you can define any space.
