Stunning Blue Living Room With Large Wall Clock

As seen on HGTV and DIY Network's Flipping the Block, Amanda Marks and Curtis Goldin had only $80 left to renovate their living room for the sixth challenge. Their big design decision was to take out the popcorn ceiling and expose the wooden subfloor of the second floor; the rest of the room was designed around that idea, with rustic pieces from Joss & Main, and under-stair storage and shelves made by Curtis.

After: Living Room With Turquoise Accents

Turquoise accents in the stairwell and original paintings by David Bromstad in the kitchen create a cohesive color story between the two spaces.

After: Backyard Patio Oasis

The Black Team added sod, chairs and a firepit on the far end of their patio, creating the perfect after-dinner hangout spot.

Taupe Living Room With Orange Curtains and Chevron Rug

A black-and-white chevron rug grounds the living room seating area, which includes two comfy armchairs and a cream-colored, tufted sofa. Orange draperies create privacy and add color without blocking sunlight in this living room on HGTV's "Flipping the Block."

Taupe Living Room With Orange Drapes and Chevron Rug

Adding a wood and wrought iron railing allows the condo's buyer to adapt the decor to both traditional or modern tastes, as seen on HGTV's "Flipping the Block." Sisters Anicka Marshall and Shauna Williams kept the original, pebble-tile stair risers for added character but used bold color to bring the space to life.

Contemporary Bedroom With Orange Accent Wall

As seen on HGTV's "Flipping the Block," shelves installed beneath the final layer of drywall putty creates a dramatic and functional built-in shelving unit.
