Season 7, Episode 7

Arts-and-Crafts Living Room

Jennifer and Linda are two busy professional moms with equally busy kids, one large bear of a dog, a red-bearded dragon and a guinea pig! They just moved into their dream home--a large 1920s arts-and-crafts house that was in original condition when they bought it. The lived-in living room is a little rough around the edges with damaged plaster, dirty white walls, an ugly fireplace and out-of-scale furniture from their previous house, leaving it in desperate need of a makeover. Designer Candice Olson tackles the challenge of shaping the space into a comfortable room that will accommodate the entire family and their menagerie of pets, while still incorporating elements of the home's heritage.
