'70s Barnyard Basement

Lori has lived in this typical suburban midcentury house during her childhood and teenage years, and now she intends to spend the rest of her adult years here. She and her new husband have just recently purchased the house from her parents. Though it's home sweet home for Lori, she's ready for a decorating change--especially in the basement. The dark and dingy room's barnyard decorating scheme was all the rage in the '70s, but now it's simply outdated. Designer Candice Olson signs on to make this room fun yet fit for elegant entertaining.
