Season 31, Episode 1

Rustic Modern Bedroom

Drew and Naz have a great looking home except for one glaring exception: their master bedroom. It is the one room that has been completely ignored. The room boasts great details like a fireplace, French doors to a balcony, a walk-in closet, lots of light and the best cozy nook you could ask for. Unfortunately, it has become a storage zone with no real personality or flavor. They want the room to be a retreat where they can reconnect as a couple as well as a family friendly space where they can relax with the kids.On a small budget, Casey and Joel are going to create a warm and elegant master suite that is child friendly. Their idea is to remake this room into a cozy, luxurious enclave that it was always meant to be: highlighting the nook in the corner as a place of respite, maximizing the amount of light that comes through the French doors, and accenting with rich paint colors and furniture pieces. This master suite will become a room with a rustic modern style with Middle Eastern flavor tossed in.
