Jonathan and Drew on the Case

Jonathan and Drew are back to make over tired properties with colorful, buyer-friendly updates. See how they transformed these properties to get them ready for sale.

Wall Removed in Clean Bright Kitchen

The removal of walls has allowed for more space between the new island and the other side of the kitchen, giving the family the space to all be in the kitchen together. Brand new counter tops brighten up the space and give it a clean feel.

Updated Island

By knocking down one wall, Drew and Jonathan Scott were able to create a light, open atmosphere in this once cramped kitchen. A new island with a built-in sink and dishwasher is the perfect centerpiece, combining style and function.

Clear Sightline in First Floor

Jonathan and Drew removed the walls that closed off the Horsman house and have made the space open and inviting. Now, there is a clear sightline from the kitchen through the living room, allowing the Horsmans to keep an eye on their kids from anywhere on the first floor.

Reflective Chandelier in Formal Dining Room

Jonathan and Drew wanted to get rid of the old mismatched sofa and make room for a formal dining area in the Horsman home. The reflective chandelier creates more brightness in the room and the pop of color in the painting draws in your eye.

Hard at Work

Jonathan Scott installs the last knob in the kitchen before the homeowners arrive.

Drew and Jonathan Make the Bed

Drew and Jonathan dress the bed with luxe, modern linens before the homeowner reveal.

Wallpaper Accent Wall in Master Bedroom

A wallpaper accent wall is much cleaner than the painted circus stripes this master bedroom used to have. The space feels brighter and cleaner as your eye is drawn through the space.

Rustic Bench in Modern Bedroom

This beautiful reclaimed wood bench sits at the foot of the bed, adding a rustic touch to this newly-renovated master bedroom.

Light and Welcoming Living Room

Drew and Jonathan wanted to create a bright, open living room space. Light flows into the space from the huge window at the end of the room, while the light wall colors and neutral furniture help to reflect that light. Soft color can be found throughout the space in the accessories on the wall, furniture and tables.

Natural Wood Tables in Rustic Living Room

The brothers bring in a rustic element design with the natural wood tables throughout the space.

Open Concept Kitchen with Breakfast Nook

After opening up and including the old family room area into kitchen, the new kitchen is almost twice as large as most other homes in the neighborhood. New paint, light colored custom cabinetry, a fireplace, stainless steel appliances, and a contemporary layout with large center island and breakfast nook make this new kitchen the central hub of the home.

Mature Modern Sitting Area

Hezekiyah and Nyahsa wanted a mature space to entertain friends, so Drew and Jonathan designed a contemporary space for the couple. By lightening up the wall shade, they were able to brighten the space, making it seem larger. Then, they brought in new, modern furniture that provides plenty of seating for a small gathering. The modern end table and lamp help to brighten up the space as the metallic water bar at the end of the space reflects light back into the rest of the room. Pillows and artwork adorn the space to add splashes of color.

Defined Seating Area in Mature Space

Hezekiyah and Nyahsa's living room was dark and mismatched with different colored earth tone walls and large, dark furniture. Lightening the wall color and creating a defined seating area creates a mature and appealing living space.

Flowing Functional Kitchen

Hezekiyah and Nyahsa's kitchen hardly even worked before and their dishwasher was being used for storage. Now they have more storage and a better layout, not to mention brand new working appliances.

Defined Living Room and Dining Space

Hezekiyah and Nyahsa's living room was dark and mismatched with different coloured earth tone walls and large, dark furniture. Lightening the wall colour and creating a defined seating area creates a mature and appealing living space.

Chic Dining Room

Hezekiyah and Nyahsa's dining room used to house a filing cabinet and it was used mainly as a play area. Now the space is modern and chic and perfect for entertaining. The breakfast bar adds extra seating as well.

Small Stylish Breakfast Nook

Hezekiyah and Nyahsa's kitchen had a large table that overwhelmed the room. Replacing it with a smaller table and more streamlined chairs makes all the difference in creating a more functional space.

Functional Contemporary Bedroom

Hezekiyah and Nyahsa's bedroom now looks like a grownup and sophisticated room as opposed to the eclectic mess it was before. Now, this is a tranquil place where they can relax.

Small Modern Bathroom

Hezekiyah and Nyahsa's newly renovated bathroom is now a calm and tranquil oasis which will appeal to new home buyers.

Modern Grown-Up Living Room

Cameron and Krystal wanted a grown up space to entertain their friends and family, so Drew and Jonathan brought in some modern furniture and updated the details of their outdated home. The neutral colors of the walls sofa, and chairs are complimented by natural elements around the doors and windows. The brothers then added color to the space by choosing warm blue and copper accent pillows and chrome candlesticks, chandelier and table lamps to help reflect light into the room.

Bright Furniture in Bedroom

Painting out the wood in Cameron and Krystal's bedroom as well as removing the dark wood furniture creates an open and peaceful retreat. The new light furniture pieces brighten the space and additional storage reduces the chaos.

New Furniture and Accessories in Contemporary Living Room

This newly remodeled living room gets lots of light from the two large windows on the back wall of the room. Two full sofas give the space plenty of seating, while the end tables, coffee table, lamps, mirror and mantelpiece help tie together the contemporary style the hosts of Buying and Selling, Drew and Jonathan Scott, were hoping to achieve.

Bright Stylish Contemporary Living Room

This contemporary living room is open and bright. They have added stylish, contemporary furniture to spruce up the space. The luxury suede couch provides comfortable seating, while the throw pillows and accents provide some color to the space. The end tables and lamps help to add light to the space and further the brothers' contemporary design.

Artwork Brings Color to Contemporary Living Room

This artwork helps to bring color to a contemporary space that Drew and Jonathan have created. The chairs help to add seating, style and color, while the table ties together the contemporary style.

Clean Bright Bedroom

Drew and Jonathan Scott have designed a space that is bright and airy. Lots of natural light comes into the room through the large window to the right, while the reflective chandelier hanging from the ceiling helps to make the room even brighter. The bright feeling is aided even further by the metallic lamps that reflect light back into the room. The yellow accents bring to mind rays of sun, while the light walls and white furniture and carpet help give the space a clean look.

Small Bedroom from Converted Walk-In Closet

Noam and Ella needed more space in their home, so Drew and Jonathan turned the spacious master closet into a welcoming second bedroom. With plenty of natural light coming in through the large window and even more light emanating from the light fixture above, the space feels much larger than it is, and is very bright and inviting. The brothers used the daybed to draw the eye, with bright, luscious pillows and smart artwork above. The floating shelves and clock to the right help to break up the space and make it more personalized.

Warm Inviting Kitchen with Bright Pops of Color

Drew and Scott designed Daniel and Vanessa's kitchen to have a clean, contemporary look. With grey custom cabinets and a white subway tile back splash, the space is warm and inviting. They use natural pops of color such as the fruit and flowers to brighten up the space.

Warm Inviting Master Bedroom

Drew and Jonathan transformed Daniel and Vanessa's master bedroom into a bright, inviting space perfect for relaxing. The neutral walls and window treatments help to brighten up the space and take advantage of the natural light that enters the room through the large window behind the bed. The rich colors and sleek furniture the Scotts have put into the room help to make the space warm and inviting.

Large Dining Room with Open Concept Floor Plan

Because Lolita and Anthony have such a large family it was very important to them to have a big dining space. By removing walls they now have a dining room for the whole family.

Bold Accent Wall in Eat-In Kitchen

This kitchen eat-in area features a smaller table and a feature wall with personal and decorative items.

Light Modern Living Room

By removing the dark leather couches and large screen TV, Jonathan was able to create a modern and chic living space. Using throw pillows and art to add color make a big difference to the space as well.

The brothers designed a master bedroom oasis for Santino and Andrea with lush bed linens and pillows. Those features are accented by black wood end tables and bright, reflective lamps on either side of the bed to bring more light to the space. The focal point of the space is an accent wall that is covered with wallpaper. The tree photograph above the bed helps to bring a little nature into the space.
